When you finally break free from the thin layer of ice and hit the open water 🙌
This was such an awesome sunrise paddle.
I wish I could start more days like this.

This year has been a special one for me. It marks the 8th year since I’ve started embarking on this crazy journey as a filmmaker, and the 5th since I moved to Toronto to start anew. The decision of leaving everything behind and start over in a city I was a stranger to was one of the scariest choices I’ve made yet, especially when many people were waiting to see me fail so they could say “I told you so”. But being the stubborn person that I am, I somehow couldn’t allow myself to fail. To be honest, there were many moments over the past years when I wanted to give up and admit that things weren’t working out. It’s hard being in your 30’s and seeing friends buy houses, get married and build a family while you’re still pursuing your dreams like a kid who just got out of college. I’ve struggled for a long time trying to understand why I was having the time of my life doing what I love for a living and learning new things everyday, but still felt so much pressure on my shoulders trying to turn numbers in to show the world that I was on my path to success. That was until I realized that my definition of success has always been clouded by social norms, and that I actually didn’t need too much in my life to be happy. So if you’ve read my story this far, and can somewhat relate to what I’ve been going through, my best advice is to just enjoy yourself and do what makes you truly happy. Eat the good food, drink the wine, travel the World, find your passion, and don’t be afraid to fail. It’s never too late to start doing what you love. Oh, and here’s a short video I made from my last trip to Alberta. Enjoy!

you're going to be on this journey forever
and some people will always be there and that's great and
some people won't

On the road again 😍! Today from Vancouver to Banff 🏔. The foundation is to have a roof window in the car 🙊Most of my photos originate while driving bcs there is not time to stop everywhere where I want. Having news than in Banff is actually 25centimetres of snow. Summer clothes I switched for hoodies so nothing can suprise me 😋.
