🏁Finished reading📖 this recently. So here's a sorta Review/Recommendation⭐:
Here's the gist💭 of this book:- In Life🤔, there are many things that we do give a F*ck about and many things that we don't give a F*ck about. And like The Road Not Taken, it's the F*cks that we don't give that make all the difference 🔥. Basically, being selective with your F*cks (pun intended) aka prioritization😁
Its as Counterintuitive❔as you can think of and has several interesting💡 concepts that are mind boggling😮 and stuff you've possibly never thought of before such as: the Backwards Law (this one's a mind f*ck), Feedback Loop from Hell🔁, Disappointment Panda🐼, Tyranny of Exceptionalism⚡, Responsibility/ Fault Fallacy, Law of Avoidance (this one explains a lot about me 😅), the 'Do Something' Principle (one of my Favs), Death Terror💀, Immortality Projects👻..... And many more! *
I also love🔥 the stories/examples/ used to communicate these concepts to the get point across👊 especially the Author's personal ones👌 in addition to stories of ppl like Malala Yousafzai, Dave Mustaine🎵 (the guy who got kicked out of Metallica!), Buddha .....and more.
The Best😇 part about the book is its unconventional Writing style & the Language used. Plus it's so F*cking easy to Devour🍴 just like your Fav food🍕 is..........@markmansonnet 👍
Last nights dinner leftovers. My friend made the most delicious prawn masala. It had so much depth and layers of flavors. It's made up of coconut, garlic, chilies, ginger, coriander, limes, and I swear you taste every single one the ingredients completely individually. Some major effort went into it, so this evening I ate it very, very slowly, in complete silence, without sharing it with anyone! #prawnmasala
Al menos debe haber 1 día a la semana en donde me coma unos panquequitos al desayuno ❤️. Sólo avena integral, plátano y un poquito de agua o leche vegetal, frutitas a gusto y agave.
"Sing me an old song, a song I once loved. Say you remember and that you couldn't forget. Hold me up, like you don't care how I got there. When you talk to me, look me in my eyes. Don't say that it has changed. That we changed. Personalities evolve into their original nature. Say that we developed, I'm fine with that. Who wants to stay in one place or one face anyway. Don't we all go through our lives running towards the truest depiction of ourselves. Are we not in our purest form, the most realistic realization of ourselves when in our last days. When all is done and complete. They lied when they told us otherwise. Anything else was not close to the truth. Now sing me that old song, the one I used to love. Maybe its notes would sooth the notes I write. Maybe I won't sound different. Maybe I would remember where I started or how I begun and this day would make more sense. Maybe I would forgive you and perhaps forgive us. Sing me those words, the ones I wrote. Tell me it would always be the same, even when it has all changed. Tell me that the days will change but the sunrises would always feel the same. That even though our paths have split, we would always walk with the same hearts" (If you have read this to the end, I would appreciate any feedback)
I saw this in my explore feed and had to AMPLIFY these words OUT of the original poster. (no disrespect intended) Sometimes a person can ASSUME facts NOT in evidence, come up w/their own conclusion, then "perform" a reactionary response based on their belief w/no supporting facts. How a person handles a "deep share" says a lot about their maturity level, discernment, wisdom and clarity of thought. ONE. WRONG. MOVE. could cost you EVERYTHING even GOD intended for you, through ONE connection.
Furthermore, when God shows you a vision OF and reveals His promise FOR your life, TRUE FAITH is not just KNOWING, but moving EVERYTHING around in your life to MATCH that vision. You don't behave like something is yours when you get it. You start that behavior while preparing for it.
It's like a man believing God for His choice of a wife, but the man still gets WAY TOO CLOSE to other women in physical proximity. Would he do that if he already HAD his wife? NO. Yet, because he over-indulged his over active imagination and misjudged shared information as having "more to it" than there actually IS, he could do something very simple that shows her he is MAJORLY careless w/her, overall. One BAD footstep could redirect his ENTIRE path towards what WAS in his grasp. We don't prove to God what we trust and believe in Him, while holding it. Faith is SUBSTANCE AND EVIDENCE of what is hoped for and not seen, YET.
Yeah. Something like that could wreck a promise, w/out practicing proper execution of perception by simply taking it to God for understanding and truth when there is uncertainty.
God made more than ONE prophet..
Not letting college classes take me away from finding time to unwind and continue my yoga practice. Even though this is sped up, I was moving very slowly. Take time today for yourself and get back in touch with what you love.
Thought for the day if commercial dog and cat food only really came into existence in the 1950s. What did dogs eat up until then? And why are we only now we are being told how bad human food is apparently for dogs and cats? Funny how stray dogs and cats cope so well with it though. #foodforthought#dogsofinstagram#catsofinstagram#dogsdinner#realfood
