I just realised (thanks to @ad79dave) that today is #WorldPhotographyDay .
Quick! Here are some celebratory balloons 🎈
I've been on hiatus recently as I'm busy calibrating myself in Denver. I just started a new job and am dedicating all my brain power to learning it right.
But I'll soon restart appearing in your feeds.
Thanks for sticking around ☺️🙏🏽
Have a blessed weekend.
"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go."

Torres del Paine felt to me like a giant granite and sandstone fortress. Approaching the base of the slopes inspired images of a march to battle, a slog through wilderness with jagged battlements keeping watch over my every move. It was dramatic, it was windy and hot - I was progressing closer to a discomfort that would lead to growth and triumph. While not the most difficult hike in the world, it's always easy to forget that when staggering up and down rocky paths or when sidling into a damp and clammy sleeping bag. It's easy to lose sight of the bigger picture when the work is happening, when fighting urges to be lazy and take the easier path. Always keep your eyes to the horizon, and see beyond the immediate discomfort in pursuit of the reward. || #layers
