Took a couple extra rest days at the end of the week due to some shin pain. I've been fairly lucky these 2 years I've been running to remain injury free, but during and after my last run on Wednesday I was experiencing pain and swelling in the interior shin area of my left leg. It's not too terrible but I've been afraid of doing any extra damage. Went out for a super easy 3 today and felt pretty good. Going to rethink my training plan and try to slowly work back up to the miles I need to prepare for my 2 half marathons in October and November. Can't lie that it was relaxing to get up and run a shorter distance on a Saturday! Every time you take the ViPR to the side you load the outer hip on that same side. This asymmetrical loading causes the arch of the foot to lift so make sure you push your big toe down as you lift the ViPR from the side and over head. When you push the big toe down you are activating those target glutes as well as your #core

Reprise de la course à pied autour du Grand Large après 2 mois de pause. Et également test de ma première poche à eau. Boucle de Meyzieu Centre en passant par le pont de Decines et le pont d'Herbens. Résultat : 12 km en 1h10 avec en prime 2 ampoules au pied 😂. #running#prepalutbynight#repriserunning
