Out for a week or so to let some stitching heal up. I got my squat bruised looked at, and doctor thought it was an abscess, so we cut it open to drain the fluid. Turns out it was just swelling and scar tissue. I don't regret it at all because we're in it for longevity. What good are your lifts now if you aren't checking health concerns or issues you may have that can yield further permanent damage?Until then what we do? 5 lessons I've learned the past month about balance🔥💧💯
I was told recently that I needed to pace myself. That I didn't have enough balance in my life and I was doing too much. .
I listend, only after the 4th person told it to me within a week.😂 sadly I didn't pace myself at all... I just stopped... Everything. While it was true I was doing a lot and making tons of progress, I was quick to burnout.
Durring that time I reflected A LOT and learned quite a few lessons I want to share with yall: 💎 Inhale as much as you exhale. I was giving and giving and giving (exhaling) so much that I forgot to take care of myself... to receive...(inhale). When we run on empty, even if it's for a good cause and to benefit others, no one benefits when you are out of commission. .
💎 Being intense is not a bad thing. Somewhere in my interpretation of their opinions, I started to question my intensity. I'm simply an intense person... and just because they may not be dosn't mean I need to numb myself down. I just need to be myself... which happens to be intense. I just need to learn when to be 100%on and 100% off.. not pacing differently, just being wiser in balance. Be self aware and go at your own "pace."
💎 Clarity is the ultimate power. I used this time to get SUPER clear on what I wanted... for my clients , for my biz, for my future. Because of this I also questioned my direction. Long story short I confirmed I'm headed in the right direction and I have 100X more faith in my mission, because I questioned it. And I know where I'm going... get clear on WHAT you want and why it matters to you.
💎Everything you are looking for is within you... I know I'm sounding like a hippie now, but it's true... most of us look for permission or answers from other people. You already know within your heart what the answer is. .
💎Care, but don't give a fuck. You can care about others and NOT accept their opinions. Know yourself enough and build confidence in yourself enough to KNOW that you are on the right path. Listen to others opinions, just be selective on whose opinion you ACCEPT. Would you want to trade places with them in that area of life? .
